Repurpose that unsightly tree trunk into art for your yard.

If you have ever tried to dig up a tree trunk then you know how difficult it is. Instead why don't you turn your remaining trunks into a work of art. If your not inclined to attempt this task yourself, there are always local artist available. Check your local art associations or schools for someone. Here are some photos I took Friday when I happened across a couple of Tree Trunk Art pieces.

Gift Tags from scraps of fabric, ribbons, beads and charms

I made little textile art gift tags using scraps of leftover fabrics, ribbons, fibers, beads and charms. I used shipping tags to pattern them after and adjusted the size a little. These would be very cute to use on a wrapped package for that special occasion. Or give one as a gift to say thank you. I've just listed some at my store.

Here's my Mother's Day gift my 9yr old son, Jonny painted for me. I will have to put this one in a frame. I think it turned out beautiful.

The Color of Spring!

I love spring time and all the fresh color it has to offer. Here's a photo I took while I was out today. Isn't it one of the most beautiful shades of pink?

Dreamy Moon Face Charm Necklace

Here is my dreamy moon face charm necklace that I made using an old game piece. I just listed it on ETSY. I love using old game pieces, this one is plastic and is like a little box on the backside. A perfect place for little displays.
